About me

I went to Queens College Glasgow in 1978 to study Institutional management and graduated in 1981. I then joined Kirkton School in Knightswood and worked teaching children who were severely developmentally challenged self-help and independent living skills. It was a fantastic experience and I think I learned more from the children than I had ever thought possible. I was then fortunate enough to get a place on a course at Langside College for a year in 1983-1984 to study with Alwen Gregory, an innovative teacher of developmentally challenged children and was successful in obtaining a certificate in her teaching methods.

In 1988 and following the birth of my two eldest children I left the school to work in the social work department at Inverclyde Royal hospital working with elderly and young physically disabled and their families.

In 2001 I studied and obtained my NLP practitioner certificate and in 2002 I qualified as a Master Practitioner and started working for myself. I was trained. In Glasgow, by Jonathan Clark author of Ignite & Unshackle the Latent Power of You.

In 2010 /2011 I studied with The Companion Animal Sciences institute and obtained a certificate in Canine Nutrition,

At present I am studying Human Nutrition and Herbal medicine and hope to be able to add that on to assist clients in the future.

Throughout my working life I have worked with people assisting them to find ways of dealing with the problems and uncertainties of life and have a lot of experience in this field. Come chat with me and see how best I can help you.
